Joyful Movement at HealCON 2022
Hi! I’m Rosie.
I have spent my whole life moving in some form or another.
From toddler ballet classes to studying the Horton method at Alvin Ailey American School of Dance, to teaching Aerobics in Hollywood, CA at the Holiday Spa on Sunset Blvd.
I’ve taught tap dancing and ballet classes to youth and I have spent my adult life Jazzercising. It helps me keep my sanity and strength up. After several years of Jazzing I started having knee and back pain from too much jumping and running. So I decided to start creating my own movement workout that was soft, easy and most of all: fun.
As all of us in this group know, research has shown that moving not only increases heart health and muscle health, but it also helps keep our brain firing, keeps our mood balanced, helps us to detox and keeps us breathing and smiling.
There is nothing more lovely than starting your day off with some joyful easy movement to get the body and brain aligned and ready to take on the day.
I hope you will all join me bright and early, wear your comfy clothes, sneakers or no shoes—up to you.
