Navigating food sensitivities and other health issues related to diet and lifestyle can be challenging. The journey does not have to be one of deprecation believe it or not.The journey can be one of learning, exploration, and fun. Now more than ever it is important for all of us to find sound ways to improve and maintain good health. My mission is to help guide you through all the challenges and changes your personal journey to health will present you.

I have been on my own personal journey for the last 7 years. I spent several years fighting severe eczema and IBS before being diagnosed with and auto immune disease (Hashimotos) 6 years ago. As a pastry chef and restaurant owner being told I could no longer have gluten, sugar and eventually nightshades was devastating. I felt my entire identity was being taken away from me. I felt my heritage and ethnicity were being ripped away by some disease I hardly understood at the time. I thought I would never eat anything enjoyable again nor would I be able to work at my profession. It has been a long road of researching, trials, tribulations, and experiments with food and lifestyle. I have had many successes and a some failures too. I’ve spent a great deal of time figuring out what worked and why and along the way have found joy and delight in the path my health has taken me.I would love nothing more than to be able share my experience not only in the kitchen but also the nutritional knowledge and understanding I have gained to help you attain the skills and tools that can help you navigate your own Joyful Journey to Health.
